Volunteering

In POPS, we have a lot of opportunities for members to earn volunteering hours and earn points! We participate in things like the Prevent Blindness Texas Zoo Stroll, work with the Lighthouse of Houston, and you can volunteer in our Bake Sales on campus to help raise money!

Volunteer for the Community Health Expo:

Why Volunteer? Help guests who are blind or visually impaired feel welcomed, supported, and safe. You can help make a meaningful difference in the community.

Volunteer tasks may include:

Assisting guests with navigation and wayfinding
Helping at activity or vendor tables
Provide general support-basic training provided on-site, staff support available.
